Children and teenagers with childhood cancer have the right to grow up healthy

Childhood cancer occurs in 16 out of 100,000 cases.
It's the number one cause of death for children.
However 80% can survive with proper treatment in an early period.
But even after long-term chemotherapy and transplantation, they cannot be free from the risk of aftereffects and relapse.
Korean Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer has been working for children and families of childhood cancer since 2000.
Not only do we support medical care with sponsors, professional medical staffs, and recovered patients, we have provided support for health, welfare, education, and self-reliance after treatment. Every child with cancer has the right to get the education they want and to return to school and society and grow up healthy.
